Legal Notice
Last updated: June 15, 2026
TimeWill is operated by Haikou Meilan Qipin Network Technology and is positioned as a digital time capsule, digital legacy checklist, and digital entrustment assistant.
1. Not a Substitute for a Formal Legal Will
The digital legacy guide, legal PDF, memorial page, and entrustment checklist generated by TimeWill are mainly used to record your digital accounts, password clues, letter delivery arrangements, and contact information. They are not equivalent to notarized wills, holographic wills, wills written on behalf of another, printed wills, or formal legal documents drafted by a lawyer.
For major matters such as real estate, deposits, equity, marriage and family, inheritance shares, or the rights of minors, please consult a lawyer or notary office and separately execute a formal will that meets legal form requirements.
2. Purpose of the Digital Legacy Guide
- Help your family and friends know what important digital assets you have.
- Notify your trusted contacts according to your settings once the heartbeat trigger rules are met.
- Help organize account, password clue, crypto asset, cloud storage, email, and social account handling instructions.
- Serve as a digital asset appendix or reference for a formal will.
3. Heartbeat Trigger Is Not Proof of Death
Heartbeat detection only indicates that you have not checked in within a certain period and cannot serve as proof of death or as legal evidence. The system uses a multi-stage reminder and contact confirmation mechanism to reduce the risk of false triggers.
4. Contacts and Executor Responsibilities
A trusted contact only means you have designated them to receive reminders or entrustment information in exceptional circumstances. Contact confirmation does not mean they assume the obligations of a legal executor. If you need a legally binding executor of your will, please specify one clearly in a formal will.
5. Legal PDF Usage Tips
- Carefully review the content after exporting the PDF.
- Print it, sign it yourself, and note the date.
- Keep it together with your formal paper will, ID, and other important documents.
- If you need legal validity, please consult a professional lawyer or notary office.
6. Disclaimer
We do our best to ensure system stability and data security, but we do not assume legal review responsibility for the truthfulness, legality, or completeness of content you enter yourself. Delivery failures caused by user setting errors, incorrect contact email addresses, failure to update information in time, third-party service restrictions, or force majeure shall be governed by system records and your settings.
