Your passwords & last words
safely to your family

If tomorrow doesn't come, can your family find the money, the accounts, the words you never said? Store it encrypted, set a heartbeat, and it reaches them when it should.

Heartbeat

Heartbeat monitoring is more than storage. It is automatic handover.

Four staged checks reduce false triggers and keep delivery controlled.

T1

Remind you first

Grace period starts and check-in reminders are sent

T2

Notify contacts

After grace expires, emergency contacts are asked to verify

T3

Release vault

After contact confirmation, encrypted assets are released

T4

Deliver letters

Letters are delivered and the memorial page can activate

Every stage has buffers and confirmations to prevent accidental delivery.

HOW IT WORKS

Three Steps

Write what's on your mind, let time deliver it

01

Write a Letter

Use Markdown or plain text to say what you want. Add images. Letters can be end-to-end encrypted — only the recipient can read.

02

Set the Time

Pick a future date, or choose "on-death" delivery. Set up heartbeat monitoring so no letter is ever lost.

03

Relax

Letters are encrypted in storage. Scheduled letters auto-send on time. On-death letters trigger after heartbeat confirms inactivity.

CORE FEATURES

Six things TimeWill handles for you

Letters written, passwords stored, instructions left — they reach the right person when the time comes

Write a letter

Write something to your kids, your partner, or your future self. It stays encrypted — sent on the date you pick, or if you stop checking in.

Give passwords to the right person

Store passwords for WeChat, banking, and crypto exchanges. Nobody can see them until a release is triggered — then they go to the contact you chose.

Scheduled delivery

Pick a future date — a birthday, an anniversary, or years from now — and the letter lands in their inbox on time.

Check in daily

Set how often you check in. If you go quiet, we remind you first, then ask your contacts, and only then release anything.

Password Vault

Save account passwords, private keys, and banking details one by one. If you're gone, your contacts get them by the rules you set.

Leave a memorial page

A place where family and friends can leave messages. It activates after your inactivity is confirmed, with your photos and words.

SECURITY

Why You Can Trust TimeWill

We break trust into three parts: how your data is protected, who can receive it, and when it triggers.

Encrypted Storage

Vault contents are encrypted on your device before upload. Technically, the server cannot see your passwords, private keys, or mnemonic phrases.

Contact Confirmation

Trusted contacts can confirm identity via email. You can also confirm offline and skip the email.

Multi-stage Heartbeat

T1-T4 staged reminders, notifications, release, and delivery — minimizing false triggers.

FAQ

Common Questions

What is TimeWill?

TimeWill helps you do three things: write letters to be delivered on a future date or after you're gone, store passwords and digital assets in an encrypted vault that releases to your family if you stop checking in, and set up heartbeat monitoring that triggers delivery only when something happens to you.

Can the platform see my passwords and private keys?

No. Everything in the vault is encrypted with AES-256 before it leaves your device. We never see your passwords, private keys, or mnemonic phrases in plain text, and nothing sensitive is ever exported unencrypted.

Will heartbeat detection trigger by mistake?

Heartbeat uses a multi-stage safety flow. It first reminds you, then waits and reminds you again, then notifies your trusted contacts — and only releases assets or delivers letters according to the delays you set. A single missed check-in never triggers anything.

What happens to my data if TimeWill shuts down?

Your data is encrypted and you can export it at any time. If the service ever ends, we commit to notifying every user in advance and keeping the data available long enough for you to download and move it elsewhere.

Do I need to install anything?

No. TimeWill runs in your browser on desktop and mobile. There is nothing to download or install.

Is this a legally valid will?

TimeWill is not a replacement for a legal will. It solves the practical problem of passing on passwords, accounts, and personal messages. For physical property and legal inheritance, use it alongside a formal will written to your local laws.

Can my contacts receive letters without registering?

Yes. Your trusted contacts only need to verify their identity when a letter is released. They don't need a TimeWill account to receive it.
